However, administering these deployments required repetitive and manual tasks unique to each portal, such as issuing outage notifications or generating user reports. Redundant administrative workloads across these portals were leading to many redundant support tickets.

With a clear ambition to streamline the ArcGIS management process, bp set out to develop a solution that could centralize administrative tasks, enhance efficiency, and reduce manual effort.

bp engaged with Wipro, drawing on more than 10 years of partnership rooted in Wipro’s technical expertise and deep understanding of bp’s business needs. Wipro and bp developed a self-service application that centralizes routine administrative tasks across all ArcGIS portals onto a single platform.

Wipro equipped this solution with real-time analytics capabilities, offering upper management immediate insights into deployment. The platform was also designed to automate routine tasks such as generating custom reports and deploying information banners. Role-based access protocols ensure that internal and external users can efficiently perform tasks based on their roles and interaction frequency. By automating these tasks, the application significantly reduces manual effort and speeds up the completion of essential activities, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

The self-service portal has significantly enhanced bp’s management of its ArcGIS Enterprise deployments, paving the way for greater agility and operational efficiency.
