Everest Group Names Wipro a Leader in IT Security PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2022 - Europe
Influential analyst organization Everest Group has positioned Wipro as a Leader on its 2022 IT Security Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment – Europe.
European enterprises are facing both localized and pan-Europe regulation and compliance challenges. Beyond regulations, enterprises are also dealing with rising supply chain and ransomware attacks, the ever-increasing costs of security breaches, the expanding attack surfaces exacerbated by proliferation of devices, and the new normal of hybrid work.
To address these issues, Wipro is expanding its cybersecurity and risk capabilities through acquisitions, including Edgile and Capco for consulting, and Ampion for analytics and DevOps, providing clients with robust solutions and expert talent. “Wipro has strong focus on building an end-to-end security practice, buttressed by its recent tuck-in acquisitions to bolster cybersecurity consulting services, extensive partner ecosystem, and embedding automation across the technology stack,” said Kumar Avijit, Practice Director, Everest Group. “European enterprises have also praised Wipro for its ability to provide services for different regulations pertaining to the European region.”
Everest Group’s report noted that ”enterprises looking for a service provider with robust GRC and data security capabilities will find Wipro to be a good fit because of its credible proof points around ServiceNow GRC and its investments in data security services.”
